The Soul Train Club nights have been mimicked by many however for the true experience, we open each night with a celebrity Soul Star host, DJ Bobby Dee, guest Celebrity Radio DJ and our resident Soul Train Club Dancers who involve the audience in a classic Soul Train line.
In 1978 Dick Griffey purchased all rights to Soul Train Records ® from Don Cornelius. This is when Soul Train Records ® became Solar Records ® the Galaxy of Stars. Almost every radio station in the UK today will play a club classic from the Soul Train or Solar Records ® collection. Shalamar alone sold 25 million records worldwide and their label associates; The Whispers and Midnight Star also sold in their millions on Soul Train and Solar Records ®. Soul Train and Solar Records ® was the ultimate soul funk sound of the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. The Soul Train Club in 2020 will be the only official night bringing you all the classics from the Soul Train / Solar records labels.
